• Chapter22 egg supports HC_NUM 0–5 (VERIFY: enabled in egg 19).
• Egg also templates headlessClients[] / localClient[] to 127.0.0.1 in server.cfg.
• Enable HC when AI tanks server FPS; measure before/after.
• Stay honest: HC helps AI offload — it is not a substitute for enough RAM/CPU.
