Secure client portal

Connect (Invite vs Direct)

Enable Direct Connection on Chapter22 Windrose

Set UseDirectConnection and port fields, restart, then test IP:port join from a second client.

Steps

  1. Stop the Windrose server.
  2. In Pterodactyl Startup, set Use Direct Connection to 1.
  3. Confirm the primary allocation port (commonly 7777 range).
  4. Start the server; verify R5/ServerDescription.json shows UseDirectConnection true and the port.
  5. From a second client, join via IP:port.
  6. If it fails, re-check TCP+UDP on that port (ports guide).

Managed Chapter22 hosting already publishes the allocation — no home router forward.
