How to Join a BeamMP Server (Direct Connect + List)

Direct Connect with IP:port vs public list (Private=false)—what to give your crew.

Direct Connect (most reliable)

  1. Install BeamNG.drive + the BeamMP client.
  2. Get IP:port from the host’s Pterodactyl allocation (default port 30814).
  3. In BeamMP, use Direct Connect / enter IP and port.
  4. Download any required client resources when prompted.

Public list

  1. Server must have a valid AuthKey.
  2. Private = false in ServerConfig.toml.
  3. Ports TCP+UDP open (managed hosting already does this).
  4. Search by name; filters can hide full/passworded servers.

Give your crew both the server name and the Direct Connect IP:port for events.
