Edit PalWorldSettings.ini Safely (Hosted)

Change rates, death penalties, and passwords without breaking INI syntax—stop server first.

Safe edit flow

  1. Backup in Pterodactyl.
  2. Stop the server.
  3. Open PalWorldSettings.ini in Files (or SFTP).
  4. Change rates, death penalties, or passwords carefully — preserve INI structure.
  5. Save → Start → watch console → test join.

Prefer panel Startup variables for name/password when the egg exposes them, and use the INI for world rates.
