Squad Ports Explained (7787, Query 27165, Beacon)

Squad needs game, query, and beacon UDP ports. Chapter22 egg 36 wires Port, QueryPort, and -beaconport.

Managed hosting (Chapter22)

Open Pterodactyl → Squad server → Network / Startup.
Note SERVER_PORT, QUERY_PORT (27165 default), BEACON_PORT (15000 default).
Players use game IP:port; browser needs query (+ beacon uniqueness).
Keep RCON private if enabled in Rcon.cfg.

VERIFY beacon 15000 is in egg env. RCON 21114 is wiki-common but not egg-managed.

Egg verification (Chapter22)

Egg 36 (Squad): Port=SERVER_PORT; QueryPort default 27165; BEACON_PORT default 15000 (verified in egg). RCON not an egg env — configure ServerConfig/Rcon.cfg (wiki often 21114). 27165/15000 not yet in node pool — assigned at provision.

Egg ports?

Egg 36: Port=SERVER_PORT, QueryPort default 27165, BEACON_PORT default 15000 (verified).

RCON 21114?

Not an egg env var — configure in ServerConfig/Rcon.cfg. Wiki often lists 21114; VERIFY at provision.

Node pool?

7787 exists on node; 27165/15000 are assigned when servers are provisioned — always copy from panel.
