Mods & DLCs on an ATS/ETS2 Dedicated Server

Keep client and server packages in sync; optional mods flags; avoid broken convoy desync.

Golden rule

Client world = server packages. If drivers enable a DLC or mod the server packages lack (or vice versa), joins break.

Operator workflow

  1. Decide the DLC/mod set for the VTC season.
  2. Export packages from a reference client.
  3. Upload to the dedicated server.
  4. Publish the required list in Discord.
  5. Re-export whenever the set changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

New DLC released?

Re-export server_packages and update every driver.

Optional mods?

Only if your convoy policy allows — mismatched optionals cause joins to fail.

Where to re-upload?

Replace server_packages.sii/.dat on the dedicated server via the panel.
